im thinking about getting a 6 cylinder instead of the 8, kinda want to save on gas... how is the performance in the 6?

Go with a 318 2bbl with 2.76 gears...    high teens / low 20's

Are you thinking of a V six? I think you need a 6 K frame for the slant 6, :scratchchin: a V six might be cool with the AOD auto! (and cheaper to do)

Do a 5.7 with a carb kit and a 518...        total cost would be around a $3500
