400 magnum, reliable bhp

Hey guys got a 400 magnum. although the work on the car has totally stopped till I can get some more work space. I'm still slowly buying bit's and bobs.

What kind of reliable bhp can you get out of a 400 magnum engine?
Where's the best place to learn what can be done with these engines and which parts can and should be used. Assuming a total engine rebuild and a blower would it be possible to get around the 500-600bhp mark? and what kind of costs are we talking about?
