So I've had this great condition 73 A833 transmission sitting around home. It's from a b-body I was going to use it in my 68 dart but decided to go with a more modern tranny. any idea what it's worth? a guy wants to buy it and I really have no clue what to sell it for. It's just the transmission itself but it's the 18 spline "hemi"(I'm going to say it's a heavy duty one because from what I've read it's been behind small blocks and B, RB's as well. It's in good shape and should be bolt in ready. ideas?

I saw a A833 on Craigslist.com for $200 bucks, it was out of a 1977 Dodge pick up, he didn't give any real description of splines or anything and I never saw it in person, so, hope it helps :shruggy: :scratchchin:

those were all OD transmissions. they had a 3.09:1 - 1.67:1 - 1:1 - 0.71:1 and all were 23 spline.

sorry if my response to that comment was kind of cold but It annoys me that in school I had to learn every state and the big cities and was tested on it and some americans can't remember 10 provinces and 3 territories of canada when I have to remember 50 states.  ::)
