I bought my 73 Charger damn near 5 years ago and the guy tossed in a buch of parts with it...I got a full ralyee gauge set, an extra set of grills and 2 boxes full of parts..The best thing I got was a hard covered folder from him anf the previous owner from about 1988 and on detailing not only the things done to the car, but the plans for the car...I have since change what those were gonna be, but I add to the book often and put all my ideas and receipts in there like the previos owners did...So what cool extra stuff have you guys gotten?

Daytona R/T SE

Condoms, french ticklers, roach clips, a couple of petrified joints, several dead mice, and what I think was a mummified raccoon :shruggy:

Were they all in a box, or were they scatterd about?     :icon_smile_big:

I got a whole bunch of receipts dating back to 1971 with my Charger. They got misplaced....they're somewhere around the house. I'll end up finding them when we start packing to move.

When I bought my Charger back my buddy  was getting out of Mopars and dropped off a trailer load of extras.

Front fenders, doors and trunk for a 68 sport satellite.
Spare parts for a A833 4 speed.
A box of parts from Dana 60's including a spare gear set.
3 ground 440, i 383,  cranks greased and in plastic.
2 other 440's.
2 sets of 6 pack rods.
Brand new fuel tank for a 70 Roadrunner.
Good hi po AT tranny lines.
An extra fuel sender.
B & M shifter.
Brand new set of ported 906 heads with new valves, springs etc. (2000 worth of work)
8-3/4 B Body rear end with pig. Nor sure of gears yet!
Modified Holley Street Dominator intake.
Older mechanical tach drive racing electronic distributor.
Boxes with misc engine mounts, harmonic balancers, brackets.

And probably a bunch more stuff I do not remember.

It was a pretty good score!

My car was loaded up with parts - new, used and original parts.

It was like a treasure hunt going through it all. I knew what the new parts would be as I got all of the receipts for them. The used parts that previous owners had added to the project and the original parts not still on the car were all unknown.

Best find? The original owner's manual.

My Charger came with its complete and clean jack set-up. I thought that was a huge bonus. Nothing else though other than the typical Rust.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

I won't go into detail what extras i got but, all the extras I got I sold at a swap meet and made about $800 off of it. That was pretty cool.  Oh yeah, all the typical rust came with mine too.

I was lucky enough to get 2 buildsheets, all the original (and mint) manuals, bill of sale from the early 70's, and even an original photo of the car from the mid/late 70's, plus other misc receipts from the 80's, and a heater box full of crap that sandblasted me going down the highway.      :o  Unfortunately no extra parts, but luckily most everything was there.   :yesnod:

73 charger SE, triple green, 318 auto, I was very lucky, no mice, I think the nest of rattlesnakes under back seat kept the rodents away, Snakes have been gone for about 5 years now, still a bit uncomfortable when i think about them.

I didn't get any extra hard parts with my 69.  But I did get a packet with the window sticker, original bill of sale, and every service ticket and receipt for every part bought for the car.  Also got the service manual.  And all the other stuff was there like owners manual, jack assembly, even the plate to attach the front license plate to the front bumper.  I even have the original keys which I have lost at my house somewhere.  And the build sheet was attached behind the glove box.  Original owner didn't know it was there.  Plus----the body has no rust (except for trunk pan and area below battery from acid) and the grill is perfect.  Car was never wrecked.  Not an RT mind you although it will be a RT clone eventually.  I am very pleased with what I got.  It's a multi year project and I am having a lot of fun with it.  I will get it on the road eventually.

Man, All I got was two little cardboard standup displays similar to what you would see on the checkout/register counter full of cheap "Zippo" style lighters with Eagles heads and pot leafs on them......and a mint rechromed 69 Camaro rear bumper?
