E-body Dana in 2nd Gen Charger?

Has any body made this work?  E-body rears are 61-5/8” wide with 46” spring perches. 1968-’70 B-body rears are 60-1/8” wide with 44” spring perches. I'm going to be running an XVII rear (no leaf springs). Will I be OK or are we going to have to slice the Dana up and re-weld, etc. I have a custom made Dr Diff Dana 60 and don't want to sell it, it's new and I could almost sleep with it lol and buying one from the US (I'm in New Zealand) would cost HEAPS, especially with the current dollar. I was planning on running 295/50s with 15x10" cop rims and a 5.5" BS if that makes any difference. If I'm not drunk because I'm not using leaf springs, it should only mean that I'm 1/2" wider on each side, correct? Haven't got a Charger yet to confirm this and/or do a mock up, just organising myself and my parts.
