so I am putting a headliner back in my 74 charger se, and I have no idea how to really do it, I bought the new headliner and i have the rods that go through it, but are you suppose to just put the rods in the holes and glue the edges or is there padding that goes under the headliner? I really have no idea, so any help would be really cool.

thanks,

you need to trim the headliner loops, since they are complete from end to end. The bows need to left the headliner loops at certain point to then get the roof edges.

No glue really needed if you have enough/complete OEM side clips &/or if claws around are still there ( I missed some so I had to glue in some places )

Begin installation from back to front, then stretching in front untill get all the bows in position. Don't forgett to use the tensioners at the last bow because these are what will keep everything in place when stretching in front. Once all bows are in place correctly positioned by the stretching procedure then stretch in back and sail panels.
