Went to see Alice Cooper & Twisted Sister on Saturday night
Support band didnt turn up which kinda made it a double headliner!
Shouted/sung myself hoarse to twisted sister! I didnt realise I would remember so many of the words. When they did 'I am ,I'm Me' , Dee gave up after the first verse & left the rest to the audiance!
Alice was even better than when I saw him at Wembley! He gave away loads...dollars -fake diamond necklaces-its the dirty diamond tour-.then sent huge balloons out it to the audience & popped them showering everyone(down the front) it confetti

Nice!

I went to see Judas Priest last week. Anthrax and Rob Zombie opened for them. That was a kick ass show.

I wrote about it in my blog (there's a link in my sig, if you must read it  ;D)

I remember seeing Twisted Sister when they played all the bars in New Jersey before they got a record deal & made it to MTV. My friends loved them, but I could take it or leave it. I did like to go along to the clubs so I could see all the women in shiny spandex back in the 80's.  :icon_smile_big:  One thing I can't forget, is one night at a Twisted Sister show, there was this really pretty girl that started smiling & talking to me. Of course I didn't drive that particular night, & my "friends" decided they were leaving early. First time that ever happened, usually they drank until they got sloppy & closed the bar, or they were tossed out.

Anyway, she asked me for my phone number & we went out a couple of times. Talk about not wrapped too tight? Her mom was Lebanese & didn't speak English & just nodded & smiled when I was trying to talk to her while waiting to leave. I probably could have said I wasn't bringing her daughter home & was going to bury her in a corn field, & she still would be smiling & nodding. First night we went to eat & a movie which was cool. The next time out she wanted to go to the Mets game so I got tickets. She sat with me for the first half of the first inning, & then I didn't see her again until the end of the game.  :shruggy:

Found out she was down by the Mets' dugout trying to pick up one of the players on the team.  :o  She never called me again, & I didn't really care either.

Shakey

Saw Alice Cooper in 1989, had seats on floor and made our way to the front by the stage just as he was hanging the midget and pullin' out his snake.  We took some magic mushrooms that night, WILD!

Well all 3 gigs were awesome, motorhead was in a smaller, more intimate venue for the second gig, girlschool really shone in the smaller place
tokyo dragons were awesome as usual, seen em 9 times now in the couple of years since they formed, got to know them now, nice guys
there was another band from northern ireland on called the answer who were fantastic, bought their CD I'm listening to it now
