Going to spray some PPG MP170 epoxy primer does anyone have any advice or tips in using this product? This is the first time I have used this product and any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

I have never shoot that brand, I think Drop does. Only thing I can tell you is make sure you have a 50% over lap with the paint pattern, use a 1.8 head if not a little bigger and if you can reduce I would about 10%. Will help it flow out a little better and less peel you have less sanding later.

I used Americn Finsheis AP 440 and it flowed out great.

I know from first experience not to touch the bare metal once you prep it and wipe it with the metal prep solution. I was yelled at by my body guy who had the hood ready for primer in the booth and I went inside and not knowing and just touch it with my finger and the painter said that he had to now re-wipe the area that I touched. Who knew?? :shruggy:l
