How does the sun visor replacements from yearone work if you have to use the old bar and mount? How does it come apart?

i had to slide my bar through mine but its a 1st gen so i don't know if its the same..................

Is it just a bar? Is it glued on? What keeps it from falling loose?

mine was a VERY tight fit, no glue or anything but again its 1st gen so i don't know about others

Just remove the tip and pull it off. There's nothing in there to hold it other than it being tight.
