72 Charger.Front disc, rear drum. What is the correct fluid level for the master cylinder? Can't find the answer in my manual.
I replaced the m/c about 4 years ago (autozone part I believe). I bled all the brakes last year, still don't have a real firm pedal, no fade thou. After a few hundred miles the front reservoir is down to half, but won't get any lower. I have checked for leaks but found none, although the side of the m/c appeared wet a few times.

Should be pretty well to the bottom of the rubber gasket under the cap. Maybe your cap is leaking. Did you bleed the master properly before bleeding the brakes? Improperly bled masters will kill your braking power.
