can anyone decode my 73 fender tag?

of so a D34 only means it has an auto...no specific one...ok...thats my bad then...and the code was my bad too...i didn't realize that the cutoff was 71

My previous Charger had D34 and was a 727 with a 318. The codes on the trans matched up to 727 ones and it was numbers matching.

dunno what to tell you...depends on the car i guess...maybe if you have D41 (HD Clutch) you have a 727 as well

Do you have a picture of a 74 tag with D36 on it to confirm your post?

How would you have a heavy duty clutch with a 727?

D41 or B41? I see B41 on the BS which may be on the tag. (I'm on the road and can't access anything at home. I'm pretty sure B41 shows up on a 74 STL tag.)

i don't have a pic of my tag and my car is in mass an hour away so i can't check...but i'm pretty sure i have both D34 and D41 coded on the tag...unless i read it wrong which is entirely possible...B41 would make sense since it has power discs...

so 2 clear up...D34 does not specify trans type...only that it is an auto...to be certain one must check the broadcast sheet or look @ the tranny and find its #...

On a 69 widow sticker; yes. It will show D34. But I'll bet the tag to that car shows D32.

I believe that is true starting in '72(? or 73?) Again, I'm on the road and can't check the tags I have but I think even the '74 /6 cars code D34 on the tag. I'll check when I get home.
