I have a 1969 Charger and I want to paint it General Lee Orange I have painted a car before but it came out sandy feeling I believe I was shooting the paint to dry how do I combat this? Also what is the Color Code of the General Lee I thought about using a Single Stage Paint like Nason's but I don't know.

their is no absolute color code they had about three different ones if memory is correct, hemi orange, chevrolet flame orange/red, chevrolet hugger orange, as for the sandy feeling your probaly spraying it to dry to quick on the passes or to much air pressure, what type of paint are you using, what air pressure are you spraying at?
