WOW, what a great thread. Congratulations (a bit late) on your weight loss. That's AMAZING!

I couldn't believe the before/after picture. It takes excellence & strict commitment to do this and you have my utmost respect for your accomplishments.

Good job man....       Loosing that much weight is very hard and very hazardous...      I went on a really rough diet back in high school - lost 21lbs in a week...    600 calories a day and 3 hours of cardio / weights a day...    ended up loosing 78lbs in 2 months..   then came my knee injury and I put most of it back on (couldn't exercise at all) - now it is barely getting time to start loosing again

I did something similar back in the early 1990's. Ate nothing but veggies, no sugars, no breads, worked out every day at the local gym.
I did the stair climber for half an hour - minimum, wearing two sweatshirts. They'd be soaked through completely. Then 2 hours of weights.
I lost 45 lbs in three months, and I was able to run for five miles without a problem. I could do 50 pushups, 15 chinups.
Now....I'm almost 80 lbs heavier than my lowest weight.
I blame the internet!!
