It was a topic that just came up in another more productive thread.  It had the potential to develop into a flame war and lock on a restoration thread that had been going on for a while.

The guy had claimed to have a chance to buy a prototype 68 marker light charger 500.And the second one theory hasnt been proven or disproven

Which reminded me of a post I made here a while back....customer came into our shop and found out we were Mopar guys there.....he said he knew where a Charger 500 was sitting and rotting away (he said it had the stripe with the "500" on the side)....I asked him about the rear window being flush or tunneled, he did not know....I asked him about the side marker lights, he said they were round.....

I proceeded to try and pick his brain without getting to inquisitive about the car...and told him that I would be interested in looking at it...

Never saw him again...
