Hello Everyone,

I have been looking all over for a fiberglass hood for a 1971 Dodge charger Super bee  :brickwall: .  I know VFN fiberglass has a power bulge, but I need the insert and the hood with the cut out.  Can anyone direct me to the proper website? Thanks

I don't think anyone is repopping the Bee insert. The bulge hood and the Ramcharger door flap are being produced as far as I know. You will need to find an original insert I think.

No, they were not available with both. The Superbee had the insert and the R/T's had the louvers.

Hey thanks for responding so quickly to my post.  I live in Grass Valley CA.  I have seen that http://www.showcars-bodyparts.com/ says that they make one but I was wondering if anybody in the US does.  they are based in Canada.

I would do a search on this website about that company. From what I have read I would never use them. I would look for and original insert and refurbish it.

Who is repopping the ramcharger door flap?

Tiberius71

All I can say for the ram charger is look at the before mentioned site.  So what's up with them why are they so bad?

I thought somebody was doing the door. I thought I had seen a company that was made the bulge part of the hood to graft onto a flat hood and had all the peices to do a ramcharger hood. I have been looking but I can't find it yet. Maybe my memory is bad.

Do the search. You will find info from people who have bought from them.

I found it. I was wrong. PG Classics does the Plymouth air grabber door and conversion kit.

THIS WAS THE ONLY REASON I ASKED.....THESE WERE ALL SAID TO BE ORIGINAL CARS!!!

Check out this website.

http://www.71superbee.com/Standard_Features/

The louvers were standard on the R/T

The insert was standard on the Superbee

Both cars had the N96 option of the ramcharger hood.
