Took apart my front bumper and associated brackets to get powder coated,  got them back and they look great with one problem - can't figure out where all the pieces now go.  Does anyone have a picture of the front bumper assembly not installed on a car.  I can't figure out where the "C" looking brackets mount to.

Thanks

appreciate the pictures, but I still can't find where the large "C" brackets go.  I will try to post pictures tomorrow to help identify part.

they must be the outer grill brackets... the go from upper reinforcement and bumper up to lower section of bumper ( not to lower reinforcement )

thanks Nacho, again!  I think it is similiar to bracket 7-16-25 in the diagram but the diagram looks like it is for a 71, is there one for a 73/74?  I am trying to download some pictures but can't find my connection cable.  Also, I am looking to buy a service manual for the car, are the cd that are availalbe on Ebay any good?

is the same piece for all years so diagram will work. I don't have a scanner to show my 74 parts catalog or FSM. The outer C bracket attachs directly to bumper, not to reinforcements... well, upper reinforcement meets anyway with that bracket on same bumper attaching point

I hate CD manuals, nothing like PAPER manuals

i think I get it now.  The "C" clamps connect the headlight assembly to the fender?  If anyone has a picture that would be great.

Thanks

if 7-16-25 is the correct part, they don't attach the headlight assembly, they are there for attaching the grilles.  each one will have 2 plastic inserts that align with the screws coming through the grilles.

also, i have both the factory body and chassis manuals if i can get you any info from them.
