I drive mine...from the front shop to the back shop and then back to the front shop. I don't want to put too many miles on it.

At least you're doing something with yours, and it looks like it might still be cold there.  :2thumbs:

Or just a pimple that needs to be popped...  :scratchchin:

Why are there 7 holes in the top left quarter panel? Wing supports were either 3 or 4 studs each....
  :shruggy:

daytonalo

I was waiting for that , it was because I at first I had a Stinger wing then a solid wing and now a hollow wing .

A383Wing

OK...just curious....my wing has 3 studs each...the street wings had 4.....so I guess that adds up to 7....

Glad I cleared that up for myself

daytonalo

Every wing I have ever seen has had 4 studs

A383Wing

That's cause you have had the street versions...I have one of the original Nascar versions that has the cable in it...cable takes the place of one of the studs in each upright. Also, in the horizontal portion of the adjustable wing, mine has 8 set screws, 4 in each end, 2 on top, 2 on the bottom. These are for tightening the wind against the stops on the vertical supports. If these set screws were not there, the wing would go back to being flat going 200+ MPH at speed.

Looks nice and smooth!
It's been a long time since I've seen anything that looks like that in the general vicinity of snowfall.

It was on a real race Daytona...I took about 5 layers of paint off it...stoopid me did not take pics....mine still has the safety cable inside....

Hey Daytonalo....I noticed square back-up lights in the lower valance??  What's the story?

daytonalo

Oh boy , I deleted the orig round ugly back-up lights and decided to run the stock ex tip through rear valence , although I made a steel sleeve that was welded in .

A383Wing

Ok...I had an idea that is what you were doing...or I thought you found some squareish reverse lights to put in there...I seem to remember seeing exhaust tips coming through a rear "B" body valance somewhere...I just can't remember where I saw it

Probably saw it in a thread I started on resto-mod Chargers a while ago.

That would have been an easy way out , but I decided to not just notch the valence but to install a sleeve , shear torture !
