OK I have a WIW question...

I have a 73 Charger S/E, project car.

Originally a 318/904 PW, PS, Rally guages  (no tach) A/C AM/FM rear defogger, bucket seats and console w/slap stik.

I have added front & Rear spoilers, power bulge hood, magnum 500 wheels, Tuff steering wheel (it isn't all that great).

I have for the car; new carpet, seat covers, a few small trim items such as the marker lights and NOS fender turn signals. Also have 71 R/T taillights (could use LENSES) 71-72 style bumpers and brackets including a hideaway headlight setup for the car COMPLETE.

I also have a 78 Cordoba parts car that i intend to use the K-Member to changeover to a fat motor. it has a complete 400 and 727 with bigger brakes, rear sway bar and all that stuff. I do have an 8-3/4 housing and axles WITH another rear bar.

I also have a 72 400 block WITH the 250 casting number that is supposed to be THE block to build stroker engines from.

There are also a ton of small stuff. extra pieces and a better trunklid.

The bad...

some rust in the a pillars, not terrible and definitely fixable.   needs a correct 73 Front valance, (Has a 71 on it now) and needs a right door and fender terribly due to rust.
Pretty decent car overall and I definitely have NOT decided to sell, I have had the car for about 11 years. I REALLY want to get my 66 up and going so I am considering it.

Any Opinions??

i agree with drache... now the "230" block is the desired block, but check the casting dates, it has to be from jul 71 - oct 71 to be a thick main block.

Because of all the extras that come with the car I would say about $2,500 if it had a standard hood and slightly more because of the bulge.

2k as a conservative guess, 73 se's are unfortunately just not that desireable.

you would do considerably better if you parted it out :Twocents:

If you have no vision or creative spirit, you can always fall back on the way the factory did it.

Check the casting date and drop that motor in,  spiff it up and then keep it. Save your money and buy more stuff - one cannot have enough toys...
