Hi,
Suppose selling my charger one day!? What set up should a choose? Today I run it with a 520 indy headed engine with six pack and TTI headers (for SR-heads) all stock looking but give 583 hp and 654 ft/lb on dyno. The best on the 1/4 is 11.50

Thinking of keeping this engine end put in a regular 440 with the six pack and buy regular TTI headers and a more stock converter for the 727?

It's a real R/T car in very good condition.
What do you guys think? Sell the car with the BIG engine or sell it with a 440??  :Twocents:

I think it really depends on the buyer, If you had a stock 440 ready to install you could offer the buyer either or.  My personal feelings if you don't have the original 440 to put back in just keep the 520 :Twocents:

No I dont have the number matching 440. It's some money and time to switch engine and get the parts. I dont have another 440 either (at the moment).

What about selling price, with or without the expensive 520?? Does it matter or it is about the same price...

honestly I would base it on something else...     Do you like the 520 ? if so are you going to be building / buying another mopar ?  If so I would keep the 520 and put it in your new car....     Honestly I dont see the 520 adding much over a stock-ish 440...    :Twocents:

I'm very happy over how the 520 turn - very nice numbers on the dyno with hydraulic camshaft and a quit mild build. I really dont want to loose this engine but will I get paid for it, I could consider to sell it in the car.

I'm sure I will use the 520 some day.

The bigger engine isn't really going to make the value go up very much...go with the 440
