Would a block from:Mopar 1975-78 440 dually dodge Truck interface perfectly in a 1968 Charger R/T?
Are there any tabs or differences for all the component interfaces?

I think it should work just fine.  Check out the 440Source website.  They have a real good work-up on blocks.

block will be fine.. its the water pump housing (if you use the 75-78 one) that will cause pulley alignment issues as the different housings were cast for different style of power steering units and brackets, and the inlet on a 75-78 housing is on the driver side where the 69 is on the passenger side.

the block, by that time, was cast to have beefier engine mount bosses which is a good thing, as those would sometimes break off if torqued down to tight and when people would not use the appropriate mounting hardware.

Thank you
As a note relative to the water pump housing:  I have the new 440 Source Aluminum housing and waterpump.

I got one of those, too - nice, aren't they :D

I agree with all above, but don't plan to re-use the oil pan and pick up tube. They are different for trucks.  A good choice for pans is at 440 source...
