converter opinions

I am putting a 518 in my 73 Charger. Cut off bellhousing and replaced with an Ultrabell. Time to shop for a converter.

I currently have a 727 with a Stock 11 inch. I am happy with its stall speed and driving characteristics. Mild build 446. Steel crank,neutral balance.

looking for an 11 inch lock up converter in the 2500 stall speed range that can handle 525 ft.lbs. of torque.

Considering TCI Breakaway. Opinions?

Will my 727 flexplate work?
