I like it in a sick sort of way.  It's somewhat current, somewhat retro, somewhat familiar, and somewhat a complete break fromthe norm all at the same time.

Aero426

This is the real car they are commemmorating.

It's way cool, but for that $ I can build 3 of the meanest Chargers to come down the pipe.

Hey, you know how it is...
Excess production capacity leads to slow sales and then the special editions are introduced to spur sales.
At evey price point.

Just think about the ego of the assholes who actually buy one of these things.. Frightening huh?..  :P

And that's why it's so cool, because it's so childish, it's so insensible, it's so thrilling. Imagine driving through tight twisty roads in that open cabin with the V8 screaming from exhaust that is placed just in front of the doors. Yes it looks like it's from a cartoon but that's why Lamborghinis and Zondas are so wonderful, because they are so unconventional, they look like nothing else on the road.

There are many Lamborghinis and other high $$ cars I do think are very attractive. And yes, the high $$s means that it shouldn't look like just any old car. Problem is that in order to set itself apart from other cars it starts to push the car into the styling fringes and it appeals to a smaller segment of the market. With these cars that works. I just don't like the cars styling at all, others I do. I guess I would want something that try's to scream manly, not childish. The gobs of money I would have to have already say childish.  :D

Besides, I get plenty rush from my 750cc v-4 that I don't need something like that. Now want, that's different. I Want a 69RT, I want an RC211V. To hell with image, I want grins that need surgery to remove.  :icon_smile_big: :METAL:

Why is the potential buyer of one of these cars automatically an a$$hole with an ego?   :shruggy:

Because they could give the money to single parent Moms or Elderly Vets. out on the street, but nooooo,..
they gotta go around flaunting their lack of Grace...

Before you respond, think about how many other Flashy Exotics the buyer of this Toy Clown Car will have in the stable... You think their other car will be a Minivan?...

It's ok,.. I allready know your Ahem,.. "Arguement"..

and I'm sure some Enron or Tycho CEO will thank you for seeing it their way...  :icon_smile_wink:
