Is there any thing I should upgrade on my dash before putting it back in?

Just getting ready to install my dash back in my charger, is any upgrades I should do to it before putting it back in. The guages I had all redone and went with a new Year One dash harness.

I sprayed Lizard Skin on the inner firewall, new under dash insulation, installed a new speaker in the dash, had the gauges restored, added a new YO harness, restored my parking brake and brake pedal, restored my heater box, installed new air duct hoses, installed a restored heater control panel, new glove box liner, repainted the dash frame, restored the VIN plate and that's all I can think of for now.

When you do the ammeter, replace the instrument voltage regulator with a solid state unit.  One company sells a nice replacement which is purported to be better than the ones using the three terminal integrated circuit conversion.  I'am sorry that I don't know the name of the outfit.  Someone on here will though.

Good info guys. I've heard stuff about the amp gauge being bad news, where do I buy the conversion to switch it over to voltage guage, and what do I do with the amp gauge in my cluster, take it out? If any one can point to a good post about this that would be awesome.

Shakey, do you have any pictures of your restored heater control panel?
