I have a 73 charger auto with 3.73 gears, and the 360 that is beat, so im going for a rebuild the only thing is I want to build a serious street engine i have picked out most of the parts. I allready have headman full tube headers, and edelbrock ld340 intake, and electronic ignition, and 3 inch dual flowmasters delta 40 ( I got carried away) i hope with the setup im going with will put that exhaust to good use. anyways for the parts i want to get i am going to get a stage 2 port job and big valves, double springs, etc.. from huges, and for a cam i want to get a comp cam extreme energy roller cam  with .570 int .576 ext 242 deg. int. 248 deg. ext. 110 lob sep. and i also want to go for roller rockers, but im not sure what ones to go with i see that proform have a complete set for around 200$ but a friend told me to stay away from proform, so i assume that the quality isent very good? and for pistons i am going for kieth black hypereutectic pistons with around 10:1 or 10.5:1 compression and i have got the combo all around 2000-6500 rpm, i am also not sure what size carb to run either. But i guess my real question is  will the bottom end hold up the that rpm and hp im not sure what to do about it so any info helps . i am also converting it to a manual.

my 360 has ported and polished heads with 2.02 intake 1.60 exhaust, .490 lift int. .490 lift exst. 10-1 compression, 750 holley double pumper. suppose to make between 380 and 420 hp at 5500-6200 depending on which intake. right now i have a performer but im switching to the air gap with an open carb spacer so it should make good torque down low and good power up to 6000, maybe 6500 with the open spacer. from what ive heard the 360 can handle up to 500 horsepower before it starts to fall apart. so the way i see it im still good for another 100 shot of nos  :METAL:

with this engine combo and 2.71 gears and a crap tranny i can still keep up with a nice 5.0 and have beaten a wrx and a srt-4...with 4.10 gears and a high stall which im putting in soon i should be smoking them.

good luck with the build  :2thumbs:
