This is actually becoming annoying... I had my Bearcat BC350A Scanner on in the car while I was outside working on the springs today and heard them call out "BOLO General Lee an Orange Muscle Car with 01 on the doors and a Rebel Flag on the roof" then "10-4".  So I'm thinking... "Lovely, what now?  Did I blow the horn one too many times everytime someone asks me to blow it? Or are they just being... arses?" and the thing is I haven't been anywhere in the General Lee since Oct. 7th because I had it jacked-up under the car-port with both springs off LOL
:-\
Just some Good Ol' Boys,
Never meaning no harm,
Beats all you ever saw,
Been in trouble with the law,
Since the day they was born.
::)
Thoughts?

Well if you havent been in the Lee since Oct 7th then it might very well be another "General Lee" out there terrorizing people. Granted they didn't say "Dodge Charger" so it could have been any type of car painted up like the General.

Probably on a convoy looking for the Bandit, wienermobile or the furry-dogmobile used in the movie "Dumb and Dumber"...but definitely not the Batmobile.

I didn't mean the cops made up the story...Joey.

Mystery solved... spoke with a friend who works in that district - said the BOLO was actually for an older model RoadRunner that had been made up to look like the General Lee! That also reiterates what I've been saying... most people (locals and cops alike) have no clue that the General Lee is a Dodge Charger as they only see the Orange Paint, 01 Door Stickers and Rebel Flag and assume it is the General Lee.  ::)

Unfortunately not many cops (or other people) realize that your GL might actually not be the only one they'll run across in the area.

There's literally several hundred GL replicas out there as it is, and that's just counting the ones that are basically made of 2nd-gen Chargers.  If you count every vehicle wearing the orange uniform at all, then we're talking about way over half a dozen cars per state.  Maybe closer to a dozen.

True... as far as I know it is the only 68-70 model Charger in North (Hickory Flat) Mississippi with the General Lee outfit (atleast at the moment anyways - my friend Perry Edge in Booneville has a 69 Charger that he is turning into a GL for his son)... I know there are a couple in Central (Jackson) and South (Biloxi) Mississippi... I guess I need to check the DodgeChargerRegistry.com and see if there are any more in my area.
