This is my last buy.
It´s not a Charger, but I like it.
1966 Belvedere II.
I found this car in McFarland, California and took it over here to Germany.
It´s got a 361 with an automatic.
I just have rebuild the frontend. I pu on new gas shocks and new tires.
Last weekend I have installed Edelbrock stainless steel mufflers. I was surprised what a nice
deep grumbling sound it has now.

Nice '66, I like the Plymouths better than Dodge in that year.  It looks like a clean ride.  :2thumbs:  I had a '67 Belvy wagon 9 passenger.  The tail lights are suppose to be unique but they look just like yours.

Is that the biggest you could go with rubber on the rear?  I know you can't get a lot of rubber back there on those.  Is that a Roadrunner on the rear trunk panel?

Rolling_Thunder

I was told 255/60/15 was about the biggest I could go with my 66 Satellite...

Awesome car man!  I dig that color...   don't think it is stock though   :shruggy:
1968 Dodge Charger - 6.1L Hemi / 6-speed / 3.55 Sure Grip

1973 Dodge Challenger Rallye - 340 / A-518 / 3.23 Sure Grip

Nice score :2thumbs: Ive always loved those cars. I had a '66 2 door poly 318/w factory A/C. Man I loved that car. I sold it a few years ago and wish I hadnt.

Current MoPars:

First of all, please excuse my bad english.

@ 472 R/T SE : No this is not the biggest rubber I could go with. The wheels are Weld Racing Pro Star 7x15 / 4.5 inch backspace
(front and rear). The tires are 225/60-15 (front and rear).
When I bought it it had 245/60-15 on the same rim in the rear. There was no rubbing at all.
Here in Germany it´s not easy to pass the inspection with different wheel sizes. That´s why I chose the 225´s all around.

And yes, it is a Roadrunner decal on the rear trunk panel. (that came like that from the previous owner)

@Rolling_Thunder : Alex, you are right. The original colour was white. The previous owner painted the Belvedere in that
green/blue colour. I like the colour very much. It´s supposed to be a Mercedes Benz colour.

Found a picture of my old convertible.
It definitely looked worse than it was. Ran great.
383/auto, power windows, buckets, console, 3:23 gears w/suregrip.
Paid $900 for it.....cleaned it up, put a set of magnum 500 rims on it and sold it for $3500.
