Looking for a new / used Truck / pickup

So, I've been realizing that I need a small truck for some everyday hauling and some minor towing. So after my research I see that the Chevy Colorodo / GMC Cannon has the best miles to the gallon, low failure rate, and best comfort.

So I'm looking at a 04 Crew Cab. Anyone have one of these? whats your experience.


Ohh, and even though I'm a die hard Mopar guy, the 13 mpg the Dakota gets is just out of the question.

13? Which one were you looking at?  I get 16-19 with my 1994 3.9l Dakota. I've owned 2 Dakotas and I wouldn't own anything else in a small/midsized pickup. I'd like to get a 2000+ quad cab Dakota but they're still out of my league.
