Vacuum Leaks found!

Hey guys - my dad and I found a vacuum leak between the carb and the passenger side of the intake manifold (M1 dual plane) last night, and the carb was brand new out of the box as of a few months ago with a new gasket of course.  We've had a shaking engine for a few summers now and have been looking for leaks, switching carbs, ect.  Anyway, I'm wondering if I have a warped intake manifold, because at one point I had the old carb tighten down hard enough to warp the spacer I was running.  The new gasket was not damaged at all btw and the bolts were fairly tight, but not overly so.

(vacuum leak found by spraying carb cleaner...could have bogged the engine all the way off if I kept spraying!)

thx,

- Doug

Take the carb off and lay a straightedge across the manifold.
