These just became available and I wish they were the 71 style but I'm sure lots here need the 72 and up style. Anyway I thought I would post the picture I was sent from Dante's Mopar parts. They look like a pretty nice stamping and could be reworked to use in a 71 too.

Sweet, deff will need a set of those in the future  :2thumbs:

71 style ? 72 style ?... sorry, dunno the diff.

I know some cars do have a drain hole with a metallic plug screwed... is that because the year ?

In 71 the seat belt on the outside was mounted to the floor pan in 72 they moved that belt mount to the rocker and cut back the area of the pan where the mount used to be. These new pans will work but you would need to salvage that area from your old pan to graft to the new. The bump in the hump is different too but functionaly these pans will work the same...its just a matter of that it would look wrong but that is no problem for a driver but if you have a show car you probably would not want to use these if you have a 71. I also believe that the 74 pans were a bit different then 72-73 but not so far off that these pans would not be a dirrect replacement.

The metal cover for the main drain hole was used in 71 thru 74.

Interesting about the metal cover.....I have yet to see a 71-74 b-body or a 70-74 E-body without it  :shruggy:
