Assuming of course you can't use a screwdriver...

Do I use a drill?  There's gotta be a better way.  Thanks.

Yep, the glass is out of course, but I can't unscrew them because the screwdriver just strips 'em.  These are the only screws left on the car, and of course where the screwdriver has failed.

Just gently hit the screw side to side slightly with a flat punch or something before trying to remove them...they generally screw right out after that...you can fit a small pair of visegrips on the stripped screws after tapping on them...good luck

What I like to do to the rusty stripped out ones is take my die grinder or cut off wheel & cut a big nice notch in head of screw, The Vibration seems to loosen it also, then use a Straight screwdriver. works 9 out of 10 for me. LEON.

Thanks guys, I'm sure that'll work.  Cheers.

This is how I do it too, it works!

I usually take a GOOD phillips screwdriver , hold it firmly into the screw,  while applying slight twisting pressure ,tap on the screwdriver handle with a hammer......Then if that doesnt work I drill them out.

How can you cut a slot in a screw that has almost no head?  Those screws are very flat. Ive done the cut a slot method many times , but by the time you'd have a slot deep enough for a screwdriver in a W/S clip screw the head would be cut in half.  :shruggy:
