Thanks Arthur. too bad the screens aspect ratio skewed it all outta proportion, still a beauty...

now there's a spyder comming out...

finally an alpha to match the type 33 stradale

I have a real soft spot for the Alphas as this was identical to the first sports car I drove,.. it was 1969, I was 13 and across the Golden Gate Bridge too.

I always loved the Stradale - not quite a Ferrari P3 / P4 but sexy & spirited enough!

The Tipo 33 is nice, but THIS is the Alfa I covet the most.   The 1932 8C Monza.  Powered by a supercharged straight 8 - it really barks!     It's a Grand Prix car capable of keeping up in traffic with modern cars today.   Pretty much the F40 or Enzo of it's day.  It was driven into a show in Chicago.    It would take several Tipo 33's to buy one of these!

The big difference is that the Stradale doesn't have the race history or success the P cars had.    But what a fabulous looking car.

If you download the episode as an xvid video the proportions will not me screwed up. Anyways to me the spider screws it up. I'm a coupe guy, the spider is missing something. I wonder what the top looks like.

it also was done a year before.
search dosen't allow my P/3-P/4 thread to be viewed.
When i did that one, alot of members complained about how they didn't like ferraris or sports cars in general.
so i guess your comments should be expected.  :2thumbs:

Dave:

They hold an annual Italian car & morotcycle show in some East Bay town called Alameda.  I've not attended but it looks interesting and its local.
