68 Charger Fuel Tank Straps and Fuel Tank Color?

Hi,

What's the correct factory color for the fuel tank straps. Also, what's the correct color for the fuel tank? Should it be left natural? If so, do you spray any clear coat over the steel to protect it.

I like to POR 15 clear coat mine over the stock finish, then no matter how much I drive
it I wont have to worry about it getting dull, and it will get dull if you plan on driving it.

afaik , gas tanks were never glavanized - they are nitrine plated.
not sure about the straps
