bad coil?

Car died on the way home yesterday. (73, 400)Don't seem to be getting any spark. I have the mallory promaster coil and its putting out about 4.5v to distributor. My voltage regulator is putting out 10.5v on the left wire and 4.5v on the right (my battery is probably a little low). So does this sound like it could be the coil, or maybe the regulator? I'm afraid I don't know much about testing this stuff.
