Hi, so whats the correct way to install the front bumper on my 69 charger?

I just got my AMD front bumper. I am having some troubles installing it. Should the braket assembly and bumper be loose when I install them on the car? What should the spacing be from the grill?

    Thanks alot!

Here is how i do it : 1.remove front lower valance unless you want to scratch and bend the hell out of it .  2. assemble the brackets includeing the cross brace tighten all parts hand tight do not leave loose .         3. use some carboard on floor to not scratch bumper an some blocks of wood put bumper on    install all bolts semi tight and center them in the slots on the brackets this will all most allways give you good left and right alignment after all bolts are in tighten them all hand tight .     4. get a friend and all 4 big frame attachment bolts and one on each side lift whole thing and slide into position & get the bolts started and semi tight then you will be able to make in and out /up and down adjustments  untill you get the right reveal on the grill and correct amount tucked in to fender and have freind tighten bolts while you hold it in place because you know where you want it .      5. install the valance .    6. install front marker lights.       7. install splash sheilds if you have them .    8. install the bumperetts and licence plate bracket .        9. open beer can and sitt back cuz your done .  :2thumbs:[]
