ok here my problem i bought a 73 charger and the igintion switch was busted out of it. when i went to buy the charger i wanted to here it run. the guy had a bypass switch that had 2 wires on it and another wire with algator clips on both ends .(  he started the charger so i know it does run.. ) i know that one goes to the + battery and one goes to the starter relay and one goes to the - coil   so where does the one with the - coil wire go ? i would like to start the motor before i take it out to sell its only a 318 !!! so all there are 4 wires that i need to hook up
thanks :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall:

- side of coil, goes to ECU on elec ign, and to dist on points.

you need to keep together down the column red ( main source ) with blue and black, and to crank, need to tie brown and yellow and make an instant contact with red untill start up.

blue is source to engine ( ballast, ecu... )
black, is accesories... on rallye cluster feeds the gauges.
brown is direc power to + coil, bypassing ballast
yellow is starter relay

that helps a little but i still need to know where the - coil wire hooks but to what and the battary hooks up to what. iam not trying to hook up the igintions switch. trying to bypass with out cutting or splicing wires

then just feed directly the ballast from batt on the blue wires side. You can feed directly the coil on + lead but will be overheating the coil and also underpowering the ECU... then simply jump the starter relay bewteen SOL terminal and stud
