I bought an intake manifold at a swap meet last Sunday.  It appears that the previous owner sand blasted the intake prior to painting it.   There are fine sand particles inside the manifold.    What's the best way to remove them before I install it on the engine?

I'd use my air compressor with the small tipped air nozzle.

I would use air pressure as suggested , But run a brush through it at the same time to knock it loose if it may be trying to stick to the runners.

My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

Nothing, repeat nothing will remove all traces of sand from inside of an intake but soap and water and lots of it. Sand forms a static bond that won't be released by simply blowing on it, the flowing water breaks the static bond.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Guess you got a good excuse to take a bubble bath with your intake
