has anyony wired the ign part of a painless wire harness?
Comming off the switch, I have a yellow and a brown that both go hot when the key is in start position and dead when in run.
I assume that is ign-1 and ign-2
Not sure why there are two.
The new harness says to wire yellow to I termanal on the starter relay and to yellow at the switch.
another wire on the new harness says it goes from fuse box to ign.
Painless told me to jump ign 1 and 2 but after talking to them several times, I still dont know what the second ign wire is for or how to wire it.
Dang, I confused myself just reading this back.
Thanks for the help

One more question
I have five wires now that need to go to B+
msd,alt,fan,fuel pump, and fuse block.
Will it be ok to wire all these togather into one terminal and attach to battery cable on the start relay, or should I install a terminal block?
Thanks for the help

Chryco Psycho

Yeah me too , I have wired a number of Painless systems
yellow activates the starter relay
the other wire need to go to the MSD [small red wire ] so the ign is on while cranking or it will not start

Looks like blue and brown of my switch tie togather for power to the msd while in run.
