Me too.  :drool5:  We had a calender in my Dads shop growing up with one of those on it.  that calender stayed up for many years...  A guy in Cumberland, WI has a 57 300c convertible unrestored.  I asked about it a couple years ago but got the standard answer.  :brickwall:

I love those...I chased one here locally that was black and unrestored. The guy was a flake and wouldn't call me back or set  up a time I could go see it..it was 30 miles from my house. Eventually its showed up on Ebay by some firm in CA...but didn't meet the reserve...Thru all the forsale venues, they were using some reallly poor pictures that looked like polaroides that had been scanned.

Anyway very cool cars and very rare...also pretty big bucks when restores. I think a restored convertible would fetch over 100K.

There is a guy near me--if he still owns it--that has Andy Granatelli's 300F SPECIAL.  The Special had a 400hp engine plus the French Pont-A-Mousson gearboxes.  It's black and I saw it at a car show and one time on the road actually.  Somewhere around here a guy owns a white 1961 G and someone else owns a dark colored H.

But I like all 300 letter cars.

Do I have the last, operational Popcar Spacemobile?
