i thought id share a couple piston pics with ya guys.    my dad removed the large piston from a pump engine when he rebiult it around 1973.  it weighs 150 pounds. the middle one in out of a alco 251c engine. i worked on them when i was in the navy. the smallest one is a .030 383 piston that i used for referance.

Wow, look at the size of the pin on those two larger slugs ! I can only imagine what the connecting rod would look like  :o

The bobweight must be freakin huge  :lol:
