Congrats man! I work for Ford, so I hear ya', they are fast and fun cars! I drove a Shelby GT 500 today, as I do often anyways, the customer said he heard strange noises coming from the front of the car once in a while. I drove the car w/him about 18 miles, he said there it is again whenever I picked up speed, that winning noise, I said Mr. thats the freakin' Super Charger kickin' in! Yeah, some people have more $$$ than smarts.

Edit: The customer came back after I got off work last night, dropped me a $20.00 for helping him w/his car. We're not allowed tips, so I donated it to the do-nut fund this morning. Customer said to my boss, if he had known the car was super-charged, he would have never bought it. FYI, he also owns it, paid in full, my guess is he saw a nice shinny stang, had to have it and never asked any questions. Nice ride TK......

I'm not a ford guy at all but oh, i don't know, unlike dodge and our beloved chargers, they got this generation of mustangs RIGHT-so props are definitely due. and with that black paint, it looks pretty sweet!

if only, just only, dodge could have the same drive for new chargers... 

and yeah, i know, the new challengers rock but dammit, seeing all these 4 door cars called charger just ISNT right to me. "at least it's a mopar". yeah, yeah, whatever...like 4th and 5th gens, they just aren't worthy of the name. i wonder if this kind of stuff happened back in the day, where people were going "well, at least it's mopar! at least it's still got two doors!" as en excuse for the 4th and 5th gens...

Ford will be selling lots more Mustangs. The reports are already coming in that quite a few Mopar dealers are marking the price of the new Challengers 25 to 30 thoudand over msrp. Thanks Chrysler dealers for putting the first nail in the coffin of the new Challenger.

You know TK 300HP is just about right for the fun factor.  My GT500 tried to kill me a number of times until I got a handle on what it will do in response to what I do.  Now I kind of know what to expect.  Is yours a manual shift? Mine is a 6 speed which is really a 4 speed with two overdrives.  The Shelby GT500 behaves like a monkey smoking CRACK with 500 + HP.
