Should i keep my charger?

Its a 1974 SE with a 318/727 suregrip 3.23 8 1/4

The engine leaks every fluid and one o fthe head gaskets is slowly failing. The rear end is leaking. The underbody is so rusted that it wont pass PA inspection. (there are small holes under the passangerside of the front seat. The body needs work, ive replaced one of the quarter panels. Its the best fix any of my friends have ever seen. Now it just needs the rest of the car fixed up. Front seat and dash are lightly cracked. Other then that, its in perfect condition.

Im broke, i only make 8.06/hr and this thing just keeps pissing me off more every time something goes wrong. I haven't had more then a couple of hours of good fun with this think on the last 6 months. It needs a FrameOff resto, but i dont have the cash. I do have another car, 1996 saturn, and that things a bomb too. I miss my jeep. nothing ever went wrong with that.


Should i even bother? Or should i just junk this heap and buy a honda.

Do you see your wage prospects improving in the future?  If so, hang on to the car and be patient, if not then sell it.

Restorations aren't easy, so you should definately do one on a car you are in love with.  You'll just have to decide if you will have remorse if you don't own it anymore.

You could part it out on ebay like alot of folks. You'll likely get more $$ for the individual parts than you would for the whole car if the body is really that bad.

One guy told me that anything can be fixed when he saw my car, so i was in a good mood. Then another guy told me there isn't a chance and to just part it out. Anybody near by to 15317 that could come take a look and tell me what you think? Or anybody want to come and buy it? i made the mistake this buying a car over the internet, and i wont let anybody do the same. You have to see it before ill let u buy it.
