AUBURN HILLS .- In response to its customers concerns about high gas prices, Chrysler LLC has announced its own economic stimulus package: a protection plan that eliminates the risk of changing fuel prices.

When you buy certain Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge models, customers may enroll in the "Let's Refuel America" program. They receive gas cards that sets the price of gasoline at $ 2.99 per gallon, and keeps it there for three years.

The offer is available at 3,521 Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge dealerships until June 2, 2008. It is available on vehicles ranging from compact crossovers and minivans to big diesel trucks.

"We are proud to present an unprecedented program to help maintain calm to our clients and help working people who are concerned about the increasing fuel prices, along with the general maintenice costs" said Jim Press, President of Chrysler LLC."This campaign puts money back into the pockets of our customers, and allows them to better manage their fuel costs. You can only get this plan ot your local Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge dealer.

This program offers customers a combination of fuel price protection with an optional reimbursement of up to $ 3 thousand on selected vehicles such as the Chrysler PT Cruiser, Dodge Charger, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Dakota and Dodge Ram.

Chrysler offers five models below $ 20 thousand that get 28 miles per gallon highway or better.

Chrysler also offers their limited lifetime warranty to protect their customers from unforseen costs.

If you have no vision or creative spirit, you can always fall back on the way the factory did it.

Got a flyer in the mail today from the local Dodge Dealer offering $1.99 a gallon of gas for the next 3 years (12,000 miles a year) if I trade in the 04 Durango we have before June 12th. Hmmmm, been wanting something new for a while now.

Around here, there's radio ads about every 20 minutes. Sounds like the best thing since sliced bread!
Hey, look at that! A case of smokes is now cheaper than a gallon of gas!

I should start smoking. :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

The $1.99 offer is pretty tempting. But I still like the Durango, and I don't know if it applies unless we trade that in on something else. I was thinking more along the lines of keeping the durango, and possibly going after a Charger R/T or something along those lines.
