belt # off my daytona only 1 of them

i was looking at my engine and i noticed that it had chrysler belts...i dusted it off and found this number 2806216 42095 0404...that was 1 belt i believe there is 2?...i also looked in threw the breather and noticed that the valve springs on the heads are red-or-pinkish...just wondering if its factory...thanks

The 216 belt is the correct one for a '69 B-body 440 Fan/Alternator belt.  The 42905 number is a vendor code, and the 0404 looks like a date code - probably the 40th day of 1974.  Are the numbers ink-stamped on the belt or molded into the belt material itself?  The originals were not ink stamped, but over-the-counter parts replacements were...

You would only have two belts if your car had power steering (forgot if that was the case or not on your car).

Not sure about the valve spring color, but I did think there was normally a baffle that would have blocked your view of the springs??   :shruggy:

I think I might have a valve cover off picture .I think there red or orange like.The guy who has the car currently and was the first since factory to tear apart the 22.000 mile daytona that had been parked since 77.Has pictures of the engine springs appear reddish . http://www.spi-performance.com/ and click on the restoration link and daytona picture

looks like i have 2 belts the other numbers i have not found..they are on the underside...the numbers are molded in the belt itself..and thanks for the link of  the valve spring they look identical..
