need a new intake for my 440

hey eveyone.
this is a bit different from my usual charger questions. but in some ways relitive.
ok now, ive got a big lifted dodge monster truck with a mostly stock 440. stock cam but may upgrade soon. the heads came off my charger , are slightly modified, with a slight mill job and bigger exhaust valves. and 3 inch ex. in 1 chamber flows.
anywho, ive got the stock intake and a 770 holley street avenger carb. problem is it got a adpter plate. and i hate hate leekey adapter plates. so im looking for a intake thats not so high end, as this is a off road rock climing beast. so low end, and lots of it is the ticket here.
ive her bad things about the edelbrock perf. 440 intake like its worse than stock. lol.
so im looking for something with nothing but low end torque and throttle response. and will work with the carb. and not use an adapter.

The Performer RPM dual plane makes excellent bottom end power. 

If you want really big torque throw a stroker kit in that 440 and undercam it.
