Going in the Black 73 Charger SE.  Debated a 451 or 470 but with cost being relatively the same i am thinking the 470 is the way to go.  Car will be 80% street driven and prefer Redlight to Redlight over top end.    But need some opinions on some of the part choices before I buy. Brother in law has a stock headed 451 in a 73 with a Lunati 60304 cam so i gotta stay a step ahead.

Heads:  Stealth 84cc (Already Have).
727 Auto
440 Source 470 Stroker kit
       4.375" (.035 over) -4 (Flat-top) 1.485" -.002" 10.77 to 1.  is this ratio with zero deck or standard block?
performer RPM Intake
Carb?
1 7/8 Headers?
Cam/Lifters?  Engle?  Voodoo?
Converter?  PTC is a couple miles from me.
8 3/4 Suregrip.  Currently 3.23s but looking to go to 3.73s or 3.91s
Rockers?  Roller? Ductile iron?
6 qt Hemi oil Pan

are these things necessary:

Is it necessary to Tap oil pickup for 1/2 "
High Volume or High Pressure Oil pump
High Volume Water Pump
Windage Tray

Will Have kevlar trans Cover
Drive Shaft Loop
275/60/15's

want good street manners ?  power brakes ?

My suggestion

470 cube

440 source kit
10.77 compression
Edelbrock RPM heads
Performer RPM Intake
850 ProForm Carb
1 7/8 Headers
K58/K60 Engle Cam on a 110LSA

That should put you at a really streetable combo with ALOT of low end torque....

should be around 535hp @ 6000rpm   and    560tq @ 4000rpm

Best part will be Over 500tq between 2000rpm and 5500....

I'm sure others will have other opinions but this is just my little contribution...    more power could be had but i usually go for a "middle of the road" combination...    not all out race...

Crane Race rocker arms (1.5 ratio)
Upgraded valve springs/retainers to match the cam
Holley Street Dominator or TM6 single plane with a 1in spacer
Profrom 950 cfm carb
1 7/8in tube headers with a 3in x-pipe exhaust system and Ultraflow mufflers
