Has anyone ever gone through Mancini Racing for a radiator, They quoted me $750 for a custom built to fit my 68 aluminum Radiator all welded with original style shroud.  That doesn't sound bad but has any one else used them?  If so, what do you think?

i have had one in my 70 charger,with a 572" 800+hp motor,for about a year.
i love it.it bolts right up.
i can idle all day,on the hottest day and not run hot.
i also bought thier custom shroud, and threw it away.it wasnt made well and,did not fit well.the fan rubbed on it.
the radiator is also thicker than stock.my clutch fan would not fit.i found a stubby clutch fan on e-bay and it works awesome.
on the shroud it used a 68-69 style with 2 bolts on one side, and 3 bolts on the other.
you can buy them new on e-bay,and they are alot cheeper than their custom shrouds.they fit and look alot better too.
i hope this helps you,good luck! :2thumbs:

Thanks , it does, I can save $150 not going with the shroud.

You might also consider the Griffin muscle car radiators.

I just installed a 26" unit in a buddy's car. Bolts right in, looks close to stock (which was important to him) with the stamped tanks and the factory shroud bolts right up.

As the weather gets warmer, we'll get to see how it performs, but I don't anticipate a problem with his mild 440.

Summit Racing seems to have the best price on these.

Thanks, I considered the griffith, it is cheaper but it is epoxy rather than welded and that kinda turned me off.
