Help with decode 72 fenderplate

I been looking at this 72 SE(i guess its a SE) but my redbook only show up to 71 so i cant decode it, so any help would be great. I have guessed that it is an SE and a 318 cars(now 383) but there it ends for me....

Thanks for the info I was hoping it would say what rearend on the plate, it looks like a 8 1/4" to me(looking at photo), did they use that on a 400?

yes they did.. the 400 2 bbl did come standard with 8 1/4 rearend

Problem with this Charger now is that the engine been swaped to a older 383 with work done to it (i guess like 350hp) so will that rearend hold for those kind of hp?

yeah if your easy on it.  i would say it would be fine and allow you to take your time and putting a 8.75 together.

i had a 8 1/4 in my 73 (roughly 250hp) and it held up fine to some brutal driving.  just take it easy and it will be fine until you can get the other bought or put together.

It does. The 029 on the top row is the rear axle code.

I just know 68-70 Chargers, i was planning in buying this one for a driver, its rustfree and i black primer. But since rear thats wider is not that commen here in Sweden i have to have one built (and thats not cheap) , like i said i was planning to have this as a good driver/toy and mayby just mayby fish it later on
