Is any one using a rod type throttle linkage instead of a throttle cable to controll the carb? (Loose the throttle cable al together)

Did you use a ready made kit or pice the linkage together by using various parts. What kit/brand is good? etc....

Its funny you should bring that up because i asked Ron the exact same question awhile back He said it could probably be done but might require some hacking/modifying to the firewall (something i wouldnt be prepared to do) i dont know if anyone does a conversion kit but i would be interested  :yesnod:

used one yes - not on a charger....     would be too problematic for me to make one fit...     never saw a need either
