Bought another car PICTURES

Well guys, don't have pictures yet.  This is Mopar Muscle Rare Finds worth.  1964 Dodge 440 4 speed car.  Here's the kicker, guy says it was an original 426 wedge car. Motor and trans are long gone, but this thing is rust free and relatively straight. How would I be able to tell if it was an original 426 car?  It's stripped down as can be (no A/C, power anything).  Will have my camera armed and ready as I am going to pick it up this afternoon.  I'll tell the price then maybe.

Vin and/or a fender tag would be the easiest way...

Here's a couple pictures of it.  One of the easiest cars I've put on the trailer.  The guy took the VIN number and fender tag off so nobody would steal it, but he assures me that he has them and it IS a 426 Wedge car, definitely a 4-speed. Factory red car it seems.  I think I made out pretty well on it.  Paid a lot less than what it's worth, but I intend to keep the car.  He's going to give me some headers for it, a 3.23 sure grip center section, old pictures of the car, and other misc. things.  I've got the front bumper for it.  It's complete minus the motor and trans.

a buddy of mine just scored as 383 auto 64 Polara...   complete less engine and hood for $1700...    completely rust free...    I never used to like them but that is definately staring to grow on me

I paid less than half of that.  Don't really want to brag so I won't say anything more than that. 

He's got a completely balanced and blueprinted .60 over 383 that is beautiful.  It's disassembled, but it'd be fun putting it back together and using it for this motor.  He wants 1k for the motor, but it comes with a factory cast iron dual quad intake.

I see he left the windows down too, so it wouldn't get too hot in there & bake the interior...good idea!

I think I'd rather bake the interior than let water pool up on the floorboards.

As far as decoding a 64 the vin tags you will only be able to tell if the car is a 6 cyl. or a v8. You need the fender tag in order to tell what the original motor displacement was. The fender tags from back then are not easy to read. Each assembly plant seem to have a different coding system.  Hey, if you are looking for an original 64 B-body 4 speed tranny, I have one that i would be willing to sell.
