Ok someone I know is selling 94-95 style cobra mustang 17" wheels and the tires are 245-45-17. ...for cheap

Would they fit on my 68?

I know "mustang" blah, but they'd look better than what I have right now assuming they fit.

any input? and thanks again!

Im not sure if they would or not I do know that the 80's ford cars do i used a set of tubines off of a crown vic for a while to roll the car around the garage see it your friend would let you bolt them on and see if they fit.

The 5-on-4.5" bolt pattern should match both cars.  But just as a guess, I don't think the backspacing(offset) of the new pony wheels are gonna work.

The modern cars have the mounting circle surface really thrust forwards to the outside of the wheel.  It was usualy just a 4" backspace on most of the muscle-era stuff.

I never thought of the backspacing being wrong like I said I used 80's ford rims just to roll the car around
